Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Minor
The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Minor is a College of Engineering minor offered by the Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering and is open to undergraduates in all majors. Students build a technical foundation in AI and machine learning, gain hands-on experience developing AI applications, and examine the ethical and societal impacts of AI, so they can apply AI tools to real-world problems in their own fields.
- Units: 12 (6 units of core courses and 6 units of technical electives)
- Prerequisites: Upper-division STEM students who have completed a Linear Algebra and an introduction to Programming course.
Required Courses (12 units)
Core (6 units)
- CMPE 108 - AI, Data Engineering, and Ethics
- Choose one from:
