Lower Division Advising
Lower division students (those with 0-59 earned units) can visit the Jack Holland Success Center in BBC 008 (Ground floor).
Lower division students can get support in the following ways:

- Appointments are 30 minute sessions scheduled via (In-person and Zoom).
- For help with scheduling, please call the Jack Holland Student Success Center front
desk at 408-924-3435.
- Appointments can only be scheduled two weeks in advance. Appointments may be limited during peak advising times.
- Service #2: Drop-In Advising (Start on October 27, 2026)

- Students who are seeking to meet with a Business advisor for the first time to discuss
change of major are required to first attend a Change of Major Workshop:
- You can sign up for a virtual workshop . All workshops are held virtually via Zoom.
- The Zoom information will be shared after filling out the sign-up form. The next workshop
dates are:
- Friday, October 30, 10:00–11:00 AM
- Friday, November 20, 10:00–11:00 AM
- Students with 60 or more earned units are not eligible to register for a Change of Major Workshop. These students must attend Upper Division Drop-In Advising (Service #3).
- Students who are seeking to meet with a Business advisor for the first time to discuss
change of major are required to first attend a Change of Major Workshop:
*Students interested in changing their major to Business (after attending a Workshop) or adding the Business minor must visit the Jack Holland Student Success Center front desk or call 408-924-3435 to schedule an appointment.
Former students seeking to return to ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø, including those who have been academically disqualified, should refer to the university's , which includes information about their services and how to connect with an advisor.
