Faculty new to AI are invited to apply to a paid Summer 2026 institute to develop ideas, approaches, and course materials for using AI in teaching. $800 stipend included. Applications close May 20.

Explorance Blue, New Course Evaluation Platform
ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø will pilot Explorance Blue in spring 2026 as part of a transition to a new course evaluation platform. Courses taught by full professors will support testing ahead of rollout.

The annual Biological Science's Grilione Seminar is for a general audience. Dr. Holly Ingraham's seminar is titled: Adaptive Responses in the Female Physiology and Why They Matter for Women's Health.
Faculty and Staff Spotlight

Gary Shaffer, faculty member at the San José State University School of Information, received a $25,000 gift through the Tower Foundation to support his ongoing research on public library leadership in politically polarized climates.
