Disqualification
Spring 2026 Instructions:
- An e-mail with the subject line "ACTION NEEDED: Set Up Your Disqualification Advising Appointment" has been sent to you.
- Use the link in the e-mail to shedule your advising meeting.
Undergraduate students on academic notice are subject to if their ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø GPA for the Fall or Spring semester is below 2.0.
First-year students who have not raised their ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø GPA to 2.0 or higher will remain on academic notice and will not be disqualified until they have either completed 30 units at ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø or finished three semesters—whichever happens first.
Reinstatement & Readmission
is a different process from . Readmission of a disqualified student is not possible unless reinstatement has been approved, but students must note that reinstatement does not guarantee readmission. In some cases, students may request reinstatement without planning to return to ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø, such as when they need to transfer to another college or program.
All returning students must submit an application for admission to ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø at by the published deadline.
Academic Notice

- Use the link in the e-mail to shedule your advising meeting.
Undergraduate students are placed on if at any time, their ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø and/or cumulative GPA falls below 2.0. Students will remain on academic notice until they return to good academic standing (ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 2.0) or are disqualified.
I am on Academic Notice - What Happens Next?
If you have been placed on academic notice from ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø, you will receive an email invitation to meet with an Student Success Center specialist or advisor to create a personalized academic success plan. Your advisor or specialist will also connect you to campus resources and provide you ongoing support.
