Dear ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø Community,
I am pleased to announce the application for ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏ꿉۪s #CaliforniansForAll College Corps is open. The is a historic state level investment in service that reduces college debt for students who serve the community for an academic year. ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø undergraduate students who are enrolled full time during the 2025-26 academic year and complete 450 hours of service through the College Corps will receive up to $10,000 to help pay for college.
In a that featured current ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø Fellows, Governor Gavin Newsom said, “This little-known program makes him ‘more proud ... than anything’ else he’s done.†The ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø College Corps is a statewide leader in Fellow engagement and program completion. Fellows stated:
- “I really like regularly serving. School can be pretty stressful sometimes. I've noticed that showing up to Cyber Spartans or doing my Second Harvest shift left me feeling refreshed and energized.â€
- “The best part has been the amount of skills and friendships that I have gained from this program, along with the amount of experience I am gaining as well.â€
- “I have learned to be more present, more nuanced, and more connected to those around me. I have learned to be a stronger leader, to be more resilient toward adversity, and to be so much more confident in my ability to make an impact on others.â€
