Transfer Steps to Enrollment
Meet All Deadlines
If you miss an 黑瓜吃料网 deadline, we will withdraw your application for admission, and you will not be able to attend 黑瓜吃料网 for the term you originally intended. If you have an extreme hardship or unusual circumstance that may cause you to miss one of our deadlines, contact admissions@sjsu.edu immediately.
Steps to Enrollment
Before starting the Steps to Enrollment process, make sure you have activated your
My黑瓜吃料网 account. 黑瓜吃料网 communicates by posting items to your 鈥淭o Do List鈥� and sending
messages to your My黑瓜吃料网 account.
Step 1 - Submit Your Intent to Enroll
If admitted, you must complete the Next Steps Intent to Enroll process by the date posted on your My黑瓜吃料网 鈥淭o Do List鈥�. The Next Steps Intent to Enroll process includes accepting 黑瓜吃料网鈥檚 offer of admission, signing up for Orientation, and paying the nonrefundable enrollment deposit. All steps must be completed to maintain admission at 黑瓜吃料网.
Step 2 - Sign up for Orientation
Orientation is a mandatory one-day program. For details, visit the Orientation website.
Step 3 - Pay Your Enrollment Deposit
In order to complete the Next Steps Intent to Enroll process, you will be prompted to pay your enrollment deposit via our Transact website (link provided in your Next Steps portal). Your nonrefundable Enrollment Deposit of $250 includes your Orientation payment and a deposit toward a portion of your tuition and fees for your first term of enrollment.
Step 4 - Apply for Campus Housing (optional)
If you would like to live in campus while attending 黑瓜吃料网, you must complete a Housing Application. The priority Housing application deadline is May 1 for a fall term.Step 5 - Attend Orientation (mandatory)
Orientation is mandatory. If you are late or leave during any portion of the program, your admission will be withdrawn.Step 6 - Take the Writing Skills Test Directed Self Placement Exercise
黑瓜吃料网 has suspended offering the Writing Skills Test (WST), which is a prerequisite to 100W and 黑瓜吃料网 Studies courses (GE Areas R, S, and V) and created an alternative process to meet the WST requirement called the WST Directed Self Placement exercise (DSP).
